First Day of PreSchool

Today was my first day at preschool. I was so excited this morning getting ready to go. I could tell that my mommy was having a hard time with her baby girl starting school so I decided to put her mind at ease. As we were walking into my school, I looked up at her and said, "It's ok mommy, I will be home later." I think it made her feel a little better :) We had such a fun day! We painted water and made some sand. Our teacher talked to us about the beach today. She left my mommy a note telling her how sweet and kind I was and that I used good manners. My mommy and daddy were so proud of me, because they are always telling me how important it is to be kind to my friends and use good manners. I can't wait to see what we are going to do tomorrow!

A Day at the Park

We went to the sprinkler park and this time we brought daddy along. We had a blast in the water and I think daddy had lots of fun too! After we were done playing in the sprinklers, we walked over to the playground and played for a bit. They have a rock climbing wall and I climbed all the way to the top!! GO ME!!

I'm one!

I turned one on July 27th (my mom's been a little slow at posting things) and my party was so much fun! I got lots of cool new toys, clothes and books. My dad is really excited that I now have "boy" things to play with and I can stop playing with all of my sister's stuff :) I figured out the walking thing a couple of weeks before my birthday and now I am pretty good at it. I can run from Kiley now!!

Little Dancer

I tried ballet and tap dancing for the first time this summer! I love it!! I told mommy and daddy that I want to continue with classes in the fall. I had a dance recital at the end of the summer. Watch me go!

Playin' With My Friends

I had a great day today! My friend and cousin Dane came over to play with me today and my buddy Brodey stopped by for a while too. We had so much fun!! We played with my toys, we bounced on my jumper, and we even splashed around in my pool. I love when my friends come over to play with me!

I'm not sure that my little brother had as much fun as I did...

Dane and I took turns squirting each other with the water hose! It was a blast!!
After all of that fun, we needed a little refreshment :)

4th of July Festivities

It was Bryson's first Fourth of July and it was a fun one! We had a day full of fun. We started the day on the square in Liberty Hill to watch the parade pass by (we even saw George Washington!). After the parade, we went to Foundation Park to jump and slide on the "big blowup bouncy things", get our face painted, pet and feed the animals, ride a pony, and take a train ride around the park. We went home to rest up a little before going back to the park that night to watch the fireworks!! Kiley was a little apprehensive about them before we got there. She kept telling us she didn't like fireworks because they were too loud. We weren't sure about how Bryson would react to them either. When the fireworks show started Kiley's fears were quickly forgotten and she loved it! Bryson was a little unsure at first, but as long as he wasn't looking at them, he loved them too (he kept pulling my hand over his eyes). All in all it was a great day and we all had a lot of fun :)
